FAQ's

1. Press the "I have lost an object" button on the global-Foundspot home page.

2. Follow the four simple registration steps, indicating what you have lost, when and where, together with your contact information, in order to notify you. The more details you provide about your object and how you lost it, the easier it will be to locate your belongings.

3. If your object is found by Global staff, it will be sent to the lost property office and there, it will be registered in our management application. Next, the system will detect matches with your lost object. The GLOBAL staff will check the match, and in the event that it is your lost item, you will receive an email to confirm this.

1. Collection and registration of objects found in our vehicles between 24/48 hours. Who takes care of it? Global.
2. The system automatically detects a match (if any) between the lost and found object: instantaneous process. Who is in charge? Foundspot.
3. The match is confirmed (if affirmative):  maximum of seven days. Who is in charge? Global.
4. The customer receives an automatic and instantaneous message to confirm that it is their lost item: time needed by the customer.
5. If you want to pick up your belongings at our facilities, the opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 08.00 to 13.00 hours.
6. If you prefer, we can also send your lost property to the address you indicate: Who will take care of it? Global, and the courier service (Correos or Correos Express) will pick it up

Once you receive your matching email and have confirmed that it is your lost item, press the "Proceed to shipment" button and fill out the form. Then proceed to the card payment to receive your membership at the postal address you indicate

You can also pick up your lost property at our facilities located at CC El Muelle L33, in Las Palmas de GC from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 13:00.

Yes, if the confirmation that it is your lost object has been established.

The delivery of the object will be made in our offices located in CC El Muelle L33, in Las Palmas de GC from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 13:00.

Yes, it is necessary that you bring your ID and the locator number that we have communicated to you by email

Yes, in that case you will have to provide the person who picks up the object with an authorization, the DNI of both parties and the code that we have sent to you by email.

Yes, once you receive your matching email and have confirmed that it is your lost item, press the "Proceed to shipment" button and fill out the form

Then proceed to the card payment to receive your membership at the postal address you indicate.

The shipping cost depends on the delivery destination and whether the service is standard or express.

Once you have filled out the shipping form, you can see the cost of shipping and handling in the "Shipping Summary".

Once the shipping process is complete, you will receive an email with the tracking number of your package so that you can see where it is at all times.

You can track your shipment using the locator and the tracking link that you received by email upon successful completion of your shipment request.

The information available regarding the status of your shipment is provided by the specific courier of the shipment.

The transit from the Global Objects Office to the destination address varies depending on the destination and whether the service is standard or express.

Transit days are displayed in the "shipment summary" window once the shipment form is filled out.

- In addition to the marked transit days, you must allow for 1-2 management days at the Lost Property Office.

Yes, however we recommend that you check if the object that is going to be sent home has any import restrictions or taxes in the country of destination.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets and laptops are usually goods susceptible to problems in conflicting customs, as well as goods of different kinds depending on the country.

If you have questions and want to avoid cost overheads, find out about the additional fees at destination customs.

NOTE: The possible import costs that the governments of these countries enforce to be paid on some customs, are NOT included in the payment that is made through Foundspot. They are not shipping costs, but import taxes imposed by their governments. We recommend that you inform yourself of possible overhead costs to avoid surprises once the shipment has been made.

The custody period ends after 15 days from the date the object arrives at our offices, except in the case of perishable food that is not kept for health reasons.

After that time the items are referred to the:
LOCAL POLICE (lost property): Documentation, skates, mobile phones, laptops, tablets and wallets.

NGOS. - Currently donated to Obra Social (clothes, baby carriages and those objects that can be given a second life): All loose clothing/complements left in the buses and not in backpacks or suitcases.

DESTROY: Documents, keys and glasses (with certificate of destruction)

CLEANING POINT: Anything not described above (date of departure to be recorded).

Perishable foods and canned food are discarded (sandwiches, etc.) for sanitary reasons.
